A little bit of a wander into macro photography today - something I'd really like to do a lot more of.
I've always struggled with the term macro when used in photography as macro usually refers to BIG whereas in photographic speak we use the term to describe the capture of minute detail.
Is it because we make small things look big that the term macro fits in this instance?
